Hannah's Holiday Fridge

We don't do Santa in our house. But I had to share this picture, because it is so cute. This very cute reindeer is Hannah's foot, and the antlers are her hands!

One Sick Girlie

Poor Hannah. This was suppose to be her weekend with her Gramie. In fact, she went home with Gramie following her Christmas performance on Friday. From here they headed to Disneyland for the afternoon.

Saturday morning, my mother in law called to tell us that Hannah had a bug, she had thrown up all over my mother in law's car and again once they reached home. Hannah's visit was cut short when she asked to come home and did so Saturday evening. She acted pretty okay once she got home last night. However, the night was a little rough as I was up and down with her several times...for miscellaneous things, one time it was simply for "a huggy".

Hannah has been quarantined to her room all day with the laptop watching movies. She has body aches, a fever, and a sore throat. I'm trying so hard to keep Rachel away from Hannah, it's the week before Christmas, and I would hate for Rachel, or any of us for that matter, to get sick.

Here's hoping for a better night and her waking up feeling better.

Kindergarten Christmas Performance 2005

Hannah's Christmas performance went great. The kids did such a great job with their 8 songs and 5 poems.Hannah was a little nervous, but she sang and did all the handmotions and has improved since her previous performances in preschool. LOL.

A Sweet and Caring Sister

Tonight, Rachel threw up in her crib. It was all over her crib, all over her favorite bear, all over her. I called for Steven to help me get her into the bath while I cleaned up her bed. As I was making a trip from the laundry room back to her bedroom, I noticed Hannah starting to kneel in the corner of the hallway, I asked her what she was doing, and she simply said "praying for Rachel". She's such a sweet sister.

Class Christmas Party and a Dress Rehearsal

Today was the Christmas party for Hannah's class. The kids decorated their own cookies and had a blast doing it!!! I provided each kid with a plate of three different cookies. And then parents donated misc other items I asked for, for the decorating. When similar activities were done atHannah's preschool, each child was given their own dixie cup filled with frosting and their own plastic knife for spreading the frosting. I did that today, and boy am I glad I did! I don't think there was a single kid who didn't lick their knives...repeatedly!! LOL. Also today, was the dress rehearsal for their Christmas program they will do the next two days. The morning and afternoon class has combined thier talents and have been practicing together for the last month. Today they practiced before their first audience, their Big Buddies. Tomorrow they will perform for the afternoon's class parents and guests, and on Friday they will perform for our class' parents and guests. They did a great job, but you could tell some were nervous...like Hannah, despite being in the back row where really no one could see her today.

Lil' Helpers

Recently while out shopping, I came across these cute aprons. I grabbed one with Hannah in mind, and my mom reminded me that I had two girls and how cute it would be for both girls to have matching aprons when helping in the kitchen. Today we dawned the aprons and made cookie dough for cookie cutter cookies for Hannah's class party on Wednesday.
