4th of July

Our 4th of July was a fairly quiet one. We hung out at home all day, resting, relaxing, watching television. Hannah starts school tomorrow and after the busy weekend we had camping, she needed the day of doing nothing. The girls did a craft on their own, while I ran to the store. Hannah colored a flag and then taped it onto a straw. Pretty cute idea!We grilled some hamburgers and finished putting our camping gear away. We then gave the girls baths and put them into their pajamas and went in search of the perfect spot to watch fireworks off of Mt. Rubidoux, the local mountain where fireworks are shot off of every year. We found the spot and it was awesome! We'll definitely go back to that spot again. We were able to open the back of the van and enjoy the music that was synchronized on one of the local radio stations. The fireworks started at 9, and Hannah stayed awake for the entire show, but fell asleep on the way home, which was only about a ten minute ride, 20 with the traffic. She has a big day ahead of her tomorrow!
