It's April, and You Know What that Means...

...it's Hannah's birthday this month!!! She's our Tax Day Baby, as her birthday is April 15th. We filled in the month of April on Hannah's calendar and here she is pointing to her big day. Hannah's pretty excited about her birthday this year. I think it's because she is growing older and is able to fully understand what having a birthday means, and in her little world...that means presents. LOL.

In the years past, I've put on big parties for Hannah's birthday. All the parties having been themed and having games or crafts, and always inviting friends and family and it being a big deal. For example, for her 4th birthday we did a carnival, it was suppose to be in the backyard, but due to rain, we had to bring it indoors. Last year it was a Garden and Bug Party. But this year, we're skipping the big party and simply having the Grandparents and her cousins over for dinner and cake the night before her birthday. Hannah's birthday falls on Easter weekend this year, so the weekend will be filled with lots of fun things. But until then...she's counting the days!

Happy Birthday, Hannah! Can't believe you're almost six.

Abby's been talking about her birthday since right after Christmas! I'll be soooo glad when it's over. She tells everyone we see at Wal-Mart, etc., that it's her birthday, and she's going to have a purple cake! LOL.

That bulletin board is filled with pictures of Hannah with all the characters she's taken pictures with at Disneyland. Some pictures are of her as young as 7 months old up until recent trips. It's so neat to look back at how much she's changed in the last 6 years.
